WEEK 6: 18th - 24th May

Hi everybody!!

We're going to do a different thing these last weeks of the term. You're going to read a book!!

Podeu escollir un d'aquests tres llibres de contes (cada llibre té tres històries):

  • British Myths and Legends

(A selection of myths and legends from the British islands: a Leprechaud who hides a pot of gold, the tale of two very different sisters and the famous story of George and the dragon)

  • Tales from Greek Mythology

(A selection of three Greek myths: the story of Persephone, who disappears into a black hole, Orpheus, who has to fight against a dog with three heads and Echo, who can only repeat people's last words, but can't speak.

  • Tales of Arabian Nights (Les mil i una nits)

(The story of a King who thinks that women are all bad. He marries one every night and kills them the next morning, but Sheherazade is a different wife. She tells him stories and he likes them so doesn't kill her. The book explains three of these stories).

    1. Cliqueu GET YOUR FREE READERS
    2. Seleccioneu NEW USER
    3. Introduïu el codi: BBFREE-SP i després cliqueu NEXT
    4. Escriviu l'usuari i la contrasenya, cliqueu NEXT i ja podreu entrar a la biblioteca
    5. Cliqueu sobre el llibre que escolliu i ja podeu començar a llegir!!!

Què heu de fer aquesta setmana?

  1. Read one of the tales from the book (escolliu el conte que vulgueu del llibre que hàgiu escollit)
  2. Do the activities about the tale you have on your DRIVE FOLDER - WEEK 6: BOOK ACTIVITIES (ompliu aquest document que teniu al drive):
    • Write a summary of the story (resum de la història)
    • Write 5 new words for you that appear in the story and make a sentence with them.

Entrega: a la vostra carpeta del drive.

Deadline: Sunday 24th May at midnight.
